政府や地方行政府のような公的機関であれ、マスメディアであれ、最近、真実の隠ぺいがいろいろ明らかにされつつあります。もちろん、昔から公的機関による真実の隠ぺいはよくありましたが、最近になって、いろんな分野での真実の隠ぺいが非常に多く指摘あるいは暴露されつつあるように思われます。
森友事件もその一つですが、石破政権は森友関係文書の全面的公開を決定しました。しかし、自殺に追い込まれた赤木俊夫さんに関係する一番関心がもたれている文書だけは公開されないらしく、政府に対する不信感は消えません。安倍総理（故人）や総理夫人にとって不都合かも知れない資料の公開には旧安倍派の強い抵抗があり、実態解明は進みません。与野党が拮抗していて、いつ政権交代するかも知れないという緊張感がなければ、こういった政府がつく嘘はいつまでたっても明らかになりそうもありません。いや、政権交代が行われるようになっても、官房機密費などの支出などは永久に隠されたままになりそうです。

As long as the ruling and opposition parties remain closely matched, creating a sense of tension where a change of government could happen at any time, the lies told by the government may eventually be uncovered. However, even if power alternates between parties, certain expenditures, such as those from the Cabinet Secretariat's secret funds, are likely to remain hidden forever.
