トランプ大統領がこの岩盤支持層を重視しているのは明らかですが、今回のイラン攻撃に対しては、支持層の間でも亀裂が見え始めています。「MAGA（米国を再び偉大に）」を掲げる支持層の一部からは、非介入主義の立場から「不快で邪悪だ」といった反発も出ています。
