専門家があらゆる場面に登場します。特に民放テレビに頻繁に出演する人気のあるいろんな分野の専門家はありがたい存在です。しかし、本当に見識のある人というのは、ソクラテスのように「無知の知」を深く認識した上で、幅広い知識をもっているがそのことを自慢したりひけらかしたりしない人です。現代ではそういった人は少なく、経済的にめぐまれないことが多いのは残念です。

However, truly insightful individuals are those who, like Socrates, deeply recognize their "awareness of ignorance" and possess a broad range of knowledge without boasting or flaunting it. In modern times, such people are rare, and it is unfortunate that they are often not economically well-off.
