Humans require a lot of nutrients, but consuming more than necessary tends to harm their health. As the saying goes, "Too much is as bad as too little." The same applies to the intake of nourishment for the mind. It is important to take an interest in various things, as it contributes to mental well-being. However, if one absorbs a large amount of worthless information, the harm outweighs the benefits.
There is an abundance of information in the world that we should or would benefit from knowing, yet our time to absorb it is limited. It is wise to consider life as short. When facing the possibility of death in a few days, no one would want to fill their mind with worthless information. Many people only realize the value of the time given to them when their life is nearing its end.
