＜寸言＞
成長して自分に自信がもてるようになるに従い、恐怖心を持たなくあるいは持つことが少なくなっていきます。しかし、戦争や大地震などの大惨事が身近なところで起これば、多くの人々に恐怖心が成長してきます。恐怖心はできるだけなくなったほうがよいですが、突発的な大災害が起きたり、「いずれ死ぬにしても苦しみながら死にたくない」という気持ちがある限り、恐怖心はなくなりそうにありません。
As people grow and gain confidence in themselves, their sense of fear gradually diminishes or disappears. However, if catastrophic events such as wars or major earthquakes occur nearby, the sense of fear among many people increases. It is best if fear can be minimized, but as long as sudden disasters happen or the feeling "even if I am to die eventually, I do not want to die in pain" exists, fear is unlikely to disappear entirely.
